IF you value shadow details and all that jazz, then do yourself a favor and see this in black. This is from a recent trip to the ONP where I was teaching a workshop. I was told about this spot last year, when Ted, Alex and I were shooting together for sunset.
This was the first time I’d been back to this place, where the conditions were good enough to shoot. Last month, the tide was very low and there was virtually no water action.
This time around it was pretty challenging to shoot and try to keep everything dry. I got completely soaked, camera included and I figured I should get out of this arch and dry everything before the camera would die.
This is a single exposure made with a Nikon D610 and Nikon 14-24mm. Processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
