Sometimes the coolest spots come to you just by chance. I found this nice rock during a hiking tour two years ago and instantly knew I need to stay there until it’s getting dark. I captured multiple images of the foreground and the sky which I tracked with Vixen Polarie. Later I stacked them to reduce noise and for maximum dynamic range. I don’t know why it took me years until I found some time for this complicated processing but now I’m quite pleased with the result.
