I got pretty miserable weather during the 3 days I spent in Arthur’s Pass. My main goal was to climb to the top of Avalanche Peak (the snow capped peak to the left of the Mt Rolleston). I attempted the climb twice but both times was forced back due to extreme winds, zero visibility and avalanche risk. I guess it will have to wait for another trip.
