Provence Soul by BeNowMeHere

When I visited Provence first time in my life, I fell in LOVE…Even if most of the lavenders were harvested…Because it was August and I was late to see the best lavender fields…
This year, I decided to go earlier…But, this time on my own…Without any booking…I just rented a car and went to Provence…I wanted to be on my own, because I was in the middle of the fields where nobody knows…I drove all day long, visited around 30 villages, and stopped may be 50 times per day whenever I see good spot to capture…I waited for sunset almost everyday which means no dinner when I was back to the villages…:) So, you see, that’s why it is not easy to travel with me 🙂

I didn’t do any booking because I knew that I could change the route plans….Before I go, I investigated a lot to learn the route plans and the harvesting time of the fields….However, when I was there, I talked to local people to learn the best fields…I got great information and completely changed the route plans…I found great lavender fields where there are no tourists….Otherwise, I could have 50 people in my frame jumping in the middle of the lavenders and taking photos…:)

This amazing field is near Valensole and provides us the soul of Province with the combination of lavender, olive trees and sunflowers…You couldn’t see the sunflowers as it is very far from the point that I took this photo….It was my first night there and I was lucky enough to find this field and enjoy speechless sunset…

Next year, I’m sure I will go again, this time more to do point….More sunset and sunrise with lavenders…
