Ghosts from the Past by randydpoll

The Independence Mine In Victor, Colorado is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Winfield Scott Stratton opened the mine in 1891. He later sold it for $11,000,000 after making it rich. Victor and Cripple Creek were among the biggest gold strikes of all time, dwarfing the ones in California.
