The Rockledge Ranch Historic Site, adjacent to the Garden of the Gods, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a living history museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The restored buildings depict life in the Pikes Peak region in four time periods and in four different households: American Indian life in 1775; an 1860s cabin; an 1880s farm; and a 1907 Edwardian Country Estate. This is my second shot at sunset taken from behind the Blacksmith Shop. It was one of the most beautiful skies I’ve ever seen. The buildings are opened several times a year with actors portraying the characters from the 1800’s.
