Last Sunday I went on a day-trip “into the glacier” at Langjökull. The man-made tunnel/glacier is very cool structure with an extraordinary lighting, a display of colors, shadows and light. Interestingly it was rather warm inside, around 0°C.
Here is a shot I made on my walk through the man-made ice cave at Langjökull glacier. This was a very comfortable walk and I never got the claustrophobic sensation. Though it was a snow storm outside, I felt rather cozy inside the cave.
