Old Bagan (Pagan) – is a huge archeological zone on the territory of Myanmar. It counts thousands of buddhist temples and pagoda. The most of them were built during the 11th-13th centuries at the time Bagan was the capital of the ancient prosperous dynastic kingdom. The ruins of Bagan are located in an area of 40 km along the east bank of the mighty Irrawaddy river. You might need a couple of days to see all of these landmarks by feet, so there are very popular the air excursions. On sunrise you may see dozen of air balloons which are slowly and soundlessly floating over the cradle of myanmar history and culture.
