The Hungarian Parliament is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary. It resides on the bank of the Danube river and is one of Budapest’s (and world’s) most famous landmarks. Construction began in 1885 and ended in 1904 and today the building is still the largest in Hungary and tallest in Budapest. It is also one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings.
