The incredible Ama Dablam in the Himalayas is catching the last glow before the temperatures would drop to freezing temperatures. The weather system here often resulted in fully clouded evenings but when there is a small moment of clearances it can also give some very dramatic scenes like here.
This scene is meant to feel dreamy and so is the processing of the upper sky. Everything comes from a single 16mm shot.
