This particular day I was driving towards the Vermilion Cliffs and when I reached Wahweap Bay near Page, “hell broke loose”. The red on the clouds is a common effect in this particular area, as the strong sun-rays reflect up the red cast from the rocks below. Winds of 50+miles/hour, a huge storm came out of nowhere. I stopped the car on the side of the road and only had a chance for a few handheld shots, then it poured down and I had to retrieve to the car… this moment lasted a few seconds, then it was gone!
