Castle Hohenzollern rising above the towns of Hechingen and Bisingen in the foothills of the Swabian Alps of central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. I shot this last Ocktober with a good friend of mine literally from dusk to dawn for three days straight. We were hoping to capture the famous fog that forms below the castle, giving it the nickname, “Castle in the clouds” Unfortunately it did not happen for us. Despite our defeat, we were still able to capture a few good shots at sunset. If anyone is planning on going to shot this beautiful landscape i recommend staying at The Berghotel Zollersteighof. Its just a fifteen minute hike from there to this lookout point.
