Last Rays of Light on the Mad River by jimkucharek

The light at twilight makes everything look different. The Mad River flows into the Pacific Ocean just north of the little town of Arcata in Northern California. In this photograph, the River runs through the dunes just a few hundred feet from the beach. The last rays of light were all that was left in the sky and I love how the light feathers the tops of the dune grass and illuminates the ground fog creeping in off the ocean.
