Old Bagan (Pagan) – is a huge archeological zone on the territory of Myanmar. It counts thousands of buddhist temples and pagoda. The most of them were built during the 11th-13th centuries at the time Bagan was the capital of the ancient prosperous dynastic kingdom. The ruins of Bagan are located in an area of ​​40 km along the east bank of the mighty Irrawaddy river. Выборгский замок был основан шведами в 1293 году, в ходе Третьего крестового похода на Карельскую землю. По средневековой русской терминологии: на землю племени корела — союзника Великого Новгорода. Как показали археологические раскопки 1980-х годов, ранее на Замковом острове располагался укрепленный пункт карел, разрушенный взявшими его шведами. По решению регента шведского короля Торгильса Кнутссона, на Замковом острове построен был мощный замок, получивший название Выборг.
