Lights of Vestrahorn by tchebotarev

On our #500pxIcelandTour there was a day we got lucky with the light, and witnessed Vestrahorn with a beautiful golden glow over a thin layer of a few evening clouds. The grass is green (which doesn’t happen for long), and the views of Vestrahorn are as breathtaking as always.

Love Iceland.

Chilling Selfie by tchebotarev

Michael Bonocore of Resource Travel is chilling on the iceberg at the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon early morning with beautiful sunrise light.

Big chunks of iceberg are flowing out in the ocean and are often end up on the black sand beach, posing as a breathtaking foreground to a beautiful northern ocean views.

Jökulsárlón at 4am by tchebotarev

A morning at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon with the team for #500pxIcelandTour.

We’ve been getting some great footage of rough Icelandic landscapes. Check out the video from the first part of the trip on Resource Travel.

Highlands by tchebotarev

This is exactly why so many people visit Iceland each year. Not everyone makes it to Highlands, of course, but after seeing this place once on 500px, I knew I had to go there (and come back, hopefully, for more).

These mountains are open for only a few months in a year, and usually are covered by multi-meter snow, so the road simply doesn’t exist from around September to July.

Edge of Iceland by tchebotarev

We are on day 2 of our #500pxIcelandTour with Iurie Belegurschi, Slava Mylnikov, and Michael Bonocore. I’m not on my computer, so my whole publishing workflow is on my phone. This shot has been edited in Lightroom and airdropped to a phone to be published when we get some connection. Enjoy!
