After having tried to sleep couple of hours, I got out the tent and this is what was waiting for me: the cloud embracing the summit of Matterhorn seemed to turn it into a volcano, Stellisee lake turned out like a mirror and a shooting star to make a whish. Amazed by this perfect sight , that I did is just start taking pictures of this unforgettable moment.

Red train circuit by AlfredoCostanzo

Another step in my series of images of the famous railway bridges in Switzerland with taking photos of trains passing over them. I made this multi exposure to make better the incredible typical form of Brusio spiral viaduct part of the Bernina Railway
The spiral viaduct ( so the train would not slip on the way up, or be uncontrollable on the way down. ) is 110 metres (360 ft) long, has a horizontal radius of curvature of 70 metres (230 ft), a longitudinal slope of 7%, and is made up of nine spans, each 10 metres (33 ft) in length.
