The Höfats – The Queen of the Allgäu Alps in southern Bavaria is one of the prettiest peaks in Germany and I was really impressed to catch it in this great light.

At this day a few weeks ago I decided to make a full-moon-photography-trip to the near mountains. I had to ride about 10 kilometers one way up and down with my mountainbike to reach this position with a temperature of -10 degrees.
As I started there was bright moonlight and a few stars to see, then the situation changed and clouds came so I wasn´t really happy about that. But with this nice halo everything was good! Nature always have something special for you!

Im Nebelhorn-/Daumengebiet liegt er, dieser wunderschöne und beachtlich große Bergsee (1876 m hoch), der über das Hintersteiner Tal zu erreichen ist.
