Mmm no, I’m not telling the entire truth here … this is not Heidyland but it’s very close to it and I think it does look like right?
This has been taken from the top of Hoher Kasten, one of the mountains of the Alpstein area. I really loved how the fog was playing with the landscape hiding and partially revealing it in a continuos play during that morning I spent there with my friends Erez and Marco.

Summer is not my favorite season of the year – this is the diplomatic way to say – and if the days are getting unpleasantly hot it becomes due to the small size of Switzerland very convenient to drive two hours at the most towards the mountains and your are in the heart of the alps. Up there I suddenly like the summer again 🙂 Between May and July the wild alp roses are in full blossom. Normally they are under protection so you should not collect them. And as they are toxic even the cows mind them 🙂

Description:

Shot during Sunset on the swiss mountain ”Rigi”. The beautiful view upon the Lake Lucerne, the valley, over 1000 meters below the path I was shooting the picture, the mountains in the far background and the incredible light and mood make this to one of my favourite pictures of all time!
