The Palm by danyeidphotography

Palm Islands are two artificial islands, Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali, on the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As of November 2014, only Palm Jumeirah has been completed. This island takes the form of a palm tree, topped by a crescent. When complete, Palm Jebel Ali will take a similar shape; both islands will be host to a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centres and will add a total of 520 kilometres of non-public beaches to the city of Dubai. The creation of the Palm Jumeirah began in June 2001. Shortly after, the Palm Jebel Ali was announced and reclamation work began. A third island was planned and construction started, but this project was later remodelled and renamed to Deira Island.

The Grand Mosque by danyeidphotography

One of the advantages of Zeiss is that the only lenses that produce maximum resolution on 35mm DSLR’s, I’m talking here about complete 36.3 MP on the Nikon D810.
I created this beautiful panoramic by stitching 3 vertical images at 16f, 5 seconds & ISO 100 with a file size of 1GB

Petra at night by danyeidphotography

During my mission with Nikon in Jordan, we wanted to test the new 24-70. After scouting the area & trying to find the right angle where i can show the entire story without cropping anything. Its a tricky here since normally in such situation i go for 14mm but here i had no option, so i have only one chance due to the limited time. I decided to point my tripod to the lowest point & frame at 24 focal length. Its a composite of 2 different images for the same time location at the same time

Madinat by danyeidphotography

One of Dubai’s most attractive destinations, Madinat Jumeirah is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Arab village, complete with a souq, palm-fringed waterways and desert-colored hotels and villas festooned with wind towers. It’s especially enchanting at night when the gardens and grounds are romantically lit and the Burj Al Arab gleams in the background.
