It’s the details, the light and the seasons that make a forest so special.

Is it just me or are you also overwhelmed at first sight when entering a forest. Numerous impressions hail down on you simultaneously. To filter this flood of impressions and transform it into a two-dimensional image is not always easy and probably the art per se.

On my tours through remote places on our planet I often stumble upon paradisical places that take my breath away. When I think they are worth a great photo, I decide to wait or return when the light and hence the atmosphere is more unique. It was a long hike deep into the Swiss mountains. If you then, however, encounter the paradise, you feel closer to heaven.

The Coronation of life is when you witness how new life is starting to breath. Especially when it´s your own flesh and blood. Three days ago my little daughter came into this crazy world. To her I want to dedicate this very special photo, which I see myself as one of my most inspiring moments ever.

It was early in the morning as we climbed down into this otherworldly green world. The water was deep dark and ran quite quickly through the tight canyon. After my many negative experiences with water damages lately it was a mental challenge for me passing some difficult passages. Perhaps a subconscious reason why I increasingly shoot on mountains lately ;-).
Howsoever I guess Felix and I stepped into a real hidden treasure. Which was an epic opportunity for us to take photos here.
