Picture was taken at Merimegmeg Beach in the Bacuit Archipelago, Philippines. I’m was waiting all afternoon for the sunset, but instead the sunset a big storm arrived. I’m sure you can figure out the rest of the story. One of the best and most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to. What struck me most about this beach was the tranquility of the setting. There are only a handful of people here at any one time, but everyone seems to respect the quiet. Everyone finds their spot, does their thing but in a way that preserves the peace; something that is hard to find on the tourist trail these days. When I was there, there was only about ten other people on a huge stretch of white sand. This beach gets you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you back in time to what travel would have been like in the old days.
