Back in time by bverbrugge

A few times a year the windmills at the Unesco world heritage site ‘De Kinderdijk’, are lit up by big lamps. These days it is very crowded with tourists (including me) and photographers (also including me :-). They all come to watch the spectacular view by night of the windmills. Sometimes you have to line up to get the best spot for photography. A funny situation.

The Back Alley by Brains11

Typical scenery in the oldest part of my hometown Dordrecht. This is the other side of one of the main shopping streets here and I call it ” the back alley” . Dordrecht is the oldest city of the Netherlands and has a rich history and culture.

Frankfurt Skyline by dragrund

Frankfurt (Germany) is the largest financial centre in continental Europe. It is home to the European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and several large commercial banks.

Frankfurt with 700.000 inhabitants belongs certainly not to the Megacities of the world, but the skyline is very spectacular due to its numerous colors reflecting in the Main River.

Single exposure – just development in LR5 from raw. Taken today, December 28th.
