Poppy promenade by Vahlenkamp

I am the lovers gift, and I am the wedding wreath. I am the memory of a moment of happiness, and I am a part of sorrow.

But I only look up high, to see the light from above, and never look down to see my own shadow. This is the wisdom which man must learn.

Inferno Door by jaychong

“Inferno Door”

Well, I was going do a top 5 images of 2015 but I ran out of time culling through the photos. So I decided to just edit photos smile emoticon. Sunset blow up was predicted by team โ€ช#โ€Žescaypeโ€ฌ !

Techy stuff: I took 2 panos and blended them together to get a 3:2 ratio so I could get a more drawn in FG and in a portrait format. Each pano was 6 shot stitch. This became one huge and sluggish file to edit. Edit in Adobe PS CC using Luminosity mask for DR and the usual bag of tricks.

Pathway to Glory 2 by NhtPhm

Please view on Black for better lighting!
This is another shot that I took at Manhattan Beach Pier, CA after work! We knew the date that the sun would be at the middle of the pier at sunset! So we were here early to wait for this moment. It was a great sunset that day and there were a lot of photographers came out to take photo. But I was so surprised that no one came and took photo under the pier except me and my friend. Maybe they didn’t know about this or they already took photos like this. Anyways, this pier is not popular as the Scripps pier in San Diego. I heard that there were a lot of photographers came to Scripps pier to capture a moment like this, so I’ve never been to that pier for the shot because of the crowd. I chose to take similar photo at Manhattan Beach and it’s not bad at all! ๐Ÿ™‚
I really like this photo and I can’t wait for the next time. Thanks for stopping by and supporting my works everyone!

Mesa Arch Dawn by ingejohnsson

Mesa Arch at sunrise, Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Mesa Arch is a pothole arch in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Canyonlands National Park is a U.S. National Park located in southeastern Utah near the town of Moab. It preserves a colorful landscape eroded into countless canyons, mesas, and buttes by the Colorado River, the Green River, and their respective tributaries. Legislation creating the park was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson on September 12, 1964. The park is divided into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the rivers themselves. While these areas share a primitive desert atmosphere, each retains its own character. Two large river canyons are carved into the Colorado Plateau by the Colorado River and Green River. Author Edward Abbey, a frequent visitor, described the Canyonlands as “the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earthhere is nothing else like it anywhere.”

Peek-A-Boo by PatrickMarsonOng

The majestic sentinels of Te Tai-o-Rehua, New Zealand. Aren’t they awesome? Here playing hide and seek with the sun on it’s glorious golden hour to catch that starburst effect while my shooting buddies were busy searching for those famous starfish.

Do you want to visit the amazing New Zealand? Check out ->Guide to New Zealand for their upcoming tours.
