I’ve been busy, I just got back from my trip to Bishop, CA for the autumn colour. But before I post those photos, I want to post up some of my old photos to clear up my hard drive LOL! I rarely do this kind of shot at this pier. But sometime the sunset was too beautiful that I couldn’t pass it. Here is one of that sunsets that I had to shot a view under the pier! Fluid Vortex by VictorCarreiro

I haven’t really done any shooting this Summer, so I went back and updated some older images to fit my current (and much more refined) processing style. I don;t have a website as of now, so this is my only online portfolio. Got to keep it updated.

This is one of my favorite seascape images. It was taken at Rodeo beach during some kind of fish spawning, resulting in thousands of birds everywhere. Quite a sight to see.

I had forgotten how difficult it was to process this image with all the birds in the air, and with big old drops of water on my lens. But I’m satisfied with the final product.

Light Watcher by kspics

“Like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter…until the full day”

While in California on assignment, had an evening to explore a little of the California coastline and follow some pathways to cliffs by the ocean. What a spectacular show to watch as the sun went down over the horizon. Warm salty breezes across my face, sounds of sea lions in the water below, wild flowers beginning to close up for the night, a scent of wild lavender filling the air, gorgeous rocks highlighted by an almost blinding light of the sun… these are the kinds of moments that inspire hope and make you realize anything is possible if you don’t give up! I treasure the time I had there! Hope you enjoy seeing it too! (This is much better viewed larger on black background by clicking on it)

The Sea In Between by VictorCarreiro

I finally have an image of this location that I’m happy with. This was taken from the same spot as the other in my portfolio, just 10 minutes earlier. Somehow I skipped over this one when looking at the RAW files and chose the other. This is taken at a great little spot in China Beach in San Francisco. Two exposures here: one for the water, one for everything else.
