It’s amazing how things change, nothing is extinguished. Nothing in this world is permanent, once this national park was covered in stunning trees, Acacia Caven, Espino Caven and Chilean Myrtle to name a few. Everything flows onward; all things are brought into being with a changing nature; the ages themselves glide by in constant movement, like the lakes of Patagonia, what happens when the glaciers are gone?

Torres Del Paine Sunset Panorama by bibimailsk

Another of those “stinky sunsets” (as my friend called them after we experienced them day after day in April 2014) in Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile. The clouds and the colors were just magical every evening. This is panorama from 4 vertical shots.

Happy New Year! by tpoulton001

Happy New Year!

Part of the process of beginning anew, or changing directions is to know where you want to go. I know this sounds simplistic and easy, but this is one of the most difficult of choices to make with clarity.

If you wish to be happy right, then it is about time to leave behind your past.

Looking forward to a massive adventurous year, full of travel and amazing light.

We really lucked out in Patagonia weather-wise. Our guides commented that they have not seen such weather in Torres del Paine National Park in years. One of my friends said “Oh no, one more stinky sunset!” Well, I can take these kinds of “stinky sunsets” anytime. I hope I’ll see more of them in 2016!
