Most of the leaves are gone from the trees, and I missed the fall colours, but one thing I do like is to see the tree skeletons. I love to see the essence of the trees, without any adornment.

Hi everyone! Hope you are well. I captured this picture a couple of weeks ago. I had not seen any green frog this year yet and I was glad when I spotted this little guy. Their eyes are so amazing.
The green frog (Rana clamitans) is a species of frog native to the eastern half of the United States and Canada.

Golden morning on the Ottawa River ❖ Un matin en or sur la rivière des Outaouais by blue_iris

This is a picture I took while kayaking at sunrise last week on the Ottawa River. It was very hot and humid, which you can see from the haze in the photo. During that outing, I saw an osprey and a bald eagle but I was too far for good pictures. The sunrise on the other hand was fantastic. This shot was taken straight into the sun, about 45 min after sunrise, when the sun was much higher up in the sky. Hope you like it. Cheers.
