Colour treatment was inspired by on of the Arthur C. Clarke’s early science fiction novels titled ‘The City and the Stars’.

Shot with Canon 5Dmk3 and Canon TS-E 17mm lens. Processed with Photoshop CC 2015, NIK Color Efex Pro 4 on a custom built PC, powered by Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I used Wacom Intuos Pro to paint the luminosity masks and lighting effects.

Rapid City III by MikeOlbinski

Another lightning bolt from that beautiful supercell on June 1st over Rapid City, South Dakota. The storm was dying out at this stage, but the lightning was incredible, especially viewing it from up high. So thankful again to my buddy James Langford for guiding me up to the top via cell phone.

Peaceful and Quiet by Brains11

On my way home from Kinderdijk just after blue hour I looked back over my shoulder and saw the city lights in the distance casting an orange/purple glow over the windmills. I couldn’t resist setting up my gear one more time………

Amsterdam. by remoscarfo

Damrak – The Red Carpet Into Amsterdam.

Damrak is the main street that leads from
Central Station to Dam square — the center of Amsterdam.

From its ‘Sex Museum’ and nearby ‘Medieval Torture Museum’ (two utterly forgettable tourist traps) to the prestigious Bijenkorf warehouse and both the historic and modern stock exchanges, and from its tour boats to the interesting architecture along the way, Damrak looks like a preview of what Amsterdam has to offer.

25 Years by BenoSaradzic

25 years, that’s all it took to building EVERYTHING you see in this frame, from one end to the other. When I see this scene, I think of this quote: “We, in the UAE, have no such word as “impossible”; it does not exist in our lexicon. Such a word is used by the lazy and the weak, who fear challenges and progress. When one doubts his potential and capabilities as well as his confidence, he will lose the compass that leads him to success and excellence, thus failing to achieve his goal. I require you, youth, to insist on number one.”
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, ruler of Dubai.
