Just kidding … but it sure felt like a scene from #ChildrenoftheCorn
If you have ever stood in a small path to a creepy abandoned house completely surrounded by corn taller than you and the sound it makes with the wind than you know what I mean. Taken south of Davis, South Dakota. 9/5/2015 – 12:20:35 AM Canon EOS 6D and EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens @ 25.0 sec; f/2.8; ISO 5000

A spectacular summer is coming to an end and the harsh light changes to a smoother yellow each day.
If you wonder what I did all the time, here you can see me doing some field ‘research’ near the summer house of my parents close to the river Rhine in the Rhenish Palatinate.
It is said, that you should try to take your landscapes exposures in the morning or evening light, leaving out most of the day where 90% of the action takes place.
So here I am starting a small series of open air shots in the middle of the day.
Feel free to give me some advice, critics or whatever you like to say about.
Remember, the light is with you, always.
