Duel at Sundown by DaniloFaria

I will dedicate this image to my girlfriend and partner in adventures (http://ift.tt/1yzzOAc), as I was about to give up waiting for sunset because I wasn’t going to drive this 4×4 rough road back at night. She convinced us to stay, and for 15 or so minutes the light was even and beautiful!
When I first saw an image of this location 5+ years ago I said to myself: I need to personally see this place one day. Well, after many years of postponing and planning, I finally reached my goal. It was a few days past fall peak, but it did not disappoint at all. It is so surreal; I can only imagine when it was first built in 1892… Thank you all for your support!

Duel At High Noon by DaniloFaria

This image was not easy to get, due to the extreme dynamic range. It was still very bright, but many areas were under shade, so the polarizer and ND came out very handy. The location on itself is one of those hard to believe that is real. It was a few days past fall peak, but it did not disappoint at all. I couldn’t resist calling it High Noon, just back in 1892… Thank you all for your support!
