Nature Always Wins by DanMontalbano

There’s something reassuring about this place. It makes you realise just how quickly nature would reassert itself if humans weren’t around.

Taken last year in Cambodia – an oldie but a goody. As my eye and post-processing techniques have evolved over time occasionally I like to revisit pictures I’ve taken in the past to see how I would approach them now. Feedback welcome!

Grand Canyon, North Rim. Inspired by a recent moody South Rim shot on 500px by Peter James. Frankly, one of the reasons this site is so great – I’ve had this image for a while and was never really happy with previous edits. All it took was a little inspiration from a fellow 500px’er and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
