“Frozen World” Workshop 11.03.2016 – 18.03.2016 – Lofoten, northern Norway together with Stian Klo! 🙂
Stian is one of the top notch international acclaimed landscape shooter and one of the best photographers in Skandinavia. Together with his partner, award-winning and worldwide renowned Norwegian landscape photographer Arild Heitmann, Stian runs the Workshop agency Lofotentours which has become one of the leading and strong growing operators for photography workshops in Norway.
As locals both have grown up in northern Norway with the best knowledge about the Lofoten and they can offer Workshops and Tours which are setting apart from other any other tour operators out there.
Stian and Arild work together with several international acclaimed photographers as co-guides like Felix Inden (also a workhop partner of mine 🙂 )Kah Kit Yoong, Max Rive, Ryan Dyar, Iurie Belegurschi, Alex Nail, Michael Bonocore, Rod Thomas and many more! So I´m deeply honored to work together with them and to co-guide a fantastic tour to one of the most spectacular places and earth for landscape photography 🙂

As a landscape photographer I´m always aiming for unique compositions,
especially in areas were I´ve been working since years and have captured
my collection of prime shots already some time ago.
The Kirkjufell mountain and surroundings is such an area which has become more and more popular and overshot, especially when it comes to the “famous” composition with the (still amazingly beautiful) waterfalls in front.
During my 2014 summer tour I was able to capture some nice shots from the interior area of Grundarfjördur and Kirkjufell and my wish was to return to this area and to work on some ideas which was in my mind during the last couple of months.
I´ve never seen such a picture from this area before and I hope that I was able to capture something special here 😉

As a landscape photographer I´m always aiming for unique compositions,

After I´ve shot some frames for a panorama which I´m going to present to you within I was already on my way back but suddenly I´ve recognize some nice flowers as a good foreground composition.
I´ve never seen such a picture from this area before and I hope that I was able to capture something special here 😉
