Gondolas with the view of the sunset over church san giorgio maggiore. Classic view of venetian lagoon. I was lucky to capture the birds flying over the sunset sky.

Light Amidst the Gloom by janneka

For those of you who are not familiar with Finnish autumn (or is it winter already?) I can tell you it’s long, dark, grey and rainy. However last weekend the sun did appear for just a while and actually created some fine light.

I combined two exposures here to deal with the very brightest parts of the sky and multiple ones to get the best water swirls and splashes into one frame. Feel free to share any thoughts you may have!

Now that i finally got my android work with the new 500px app… let’s try how it works (i have only read and heard good things :-)))))) 😉
Ahora que por fin he conseguido que 500px me vaya en la app del móvil, a ver como va la aplicación. No he leido más que cosas buenas de ella (jojojojo)
