Jack The Rabbit by stianklo

Reynisfjara, Iceland. Is it just me, or does the seastack to the right look like the famous rabbit dildo …yikes

Chilled Crocodile by stianklo

Arild Heitmann, aka the Arctic Ron Jeremy lookalike, and I were very lucky to witness an amazing sunset at the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon in Iceland in June 2015. While the area is beautiful and the light was good, it’s hard to find balance amidst the chaos – there are thousands of small (and big) chunks of ice floating around. I found this particular one very intriguing, as it looks like a crocodile ..head to the right, and some weird wart on his tail! Before you ask, no I haven’t been smoking – curious to hear what you see ? =))

Mímir’s Symphony by stianklo

Svartifoss is a waterfall in Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park in Iceland, and is one of the most popular sights in the park. It’s surrounded by dark lava columns, which gave rise to its name. Arild Heitmann and I will be offering a new tour in Iceland next summer, stay tuned – only 10 spots available. Captured with a Nikon D810 and 14-24mm f/2.8

Magni’s Glen by stianklo

Best viewed on a dark background.
Can’t wait to visit this valley again for next summer’s tour. Get in touch if you want to tag along with Arild Heitmann and myself. Iceland is bananas!

Theatre of Trolls by stianklo

The mighty Skogafoss, Iceland – how many troll faces do you see ? I initially only saw four, but my good friend Kilian Schönberger found eight !

Adrenaline Rush by stianklo

Arild and I found this somewhat hidden river deep inside a valley in Iceland. It was really hard to keep the tripod still, as the force of the water was pretty intense. Can’t wait to show you more images from the trip!

Golden Deluge by stianklo

I tried to shoot a new angle on the iconic Gullfoss in Iceland – right underneath the plateau on top of the waterfall, there’s a super tiny cave of sorts, where the water rushes through with immense speed and power (I guess it’s not really allowed to go there, woops sorry!). Arild and I got totally drenched in water, but it was so worth it …what a view and spectacle we were treated with. Can’t wait to show you more images from the trip 🙂
