The soul of the Alps by StefanHefele

What is it that makes the Alps and mountains so fascinating? For sure it´s their unimaginable dimensions. The depth, the expanse. The dangers involved stimulate and challenges our primary instincts. But the sheer beauty that a mountain massif radiates is hard to put into words and will fulfill me in 2016 even more intensive.

The secret Canyon by StefanHefele

“The secret Canyon” – Scotland

It was early in the morning as we climbed down into this otherworldly green world. The water was deep dark and ran quite quickly through the tight canyon. After my many negative experiences with water damages lately it was a mental challenge for me passing some difficult passages. Perhaps a subconscious reason why I increasingly shoot on mountains lately ;-).
Howsoever I guess Felix and I stepped into a real hidden treasure. Which was an epic opportunity for us to take photos here.

Prodigy by StefanHefele

“Prodigy” – Vorarlberg – Austrian Alps

Isn´t it a wonder how beautiful the flowers exist in such a bizarre and rough landscape. They reach towards the light, as if they were sucking even the last ray of sunlight. I was impressed from this very little meadow in the middle of a rocky slope that I had to stop here for a little shoot. Still impressed…
