The taste of the mountains by ManuelMartin1972

During our vacation in the Alps, we take a few small hikes with a horde of children. Friends of ours were with their children also in the mountains, and that meant „Obligation for all children to hike with me“ he he he 🙂 It was clear that the children had been overjoyed to be outdoors but they were also running around completely headless. I told the children again and again „Don’t run, it can be dangerous. You have to walk, because there is the dangerous of having twisted an ankle!“. And indeed, after shouting out 2’740 times they finally listen to me he he he 😉 With one small exception! Through the running all the time around and the loud laughter of the children our dog was also animated to do the same. And unfortunately I have never mastered the language of dogs. Before I could take Giorgio on a leash … it happened, what had to happen. Result: An ankle was a bit twisted!!! Well, it was not so bad and we still could admire the beautiful scenery in front of us which I was able to shoot after lunch!

Thank you for your time and interest in my photos, your visit is most appreciated 🙂

Ferns in the Mist by ManuelMartin1972

We were during a week in the Swiss Alps to hike. Well, and the weather forecast predicted sunny weather for the entire week. Oh how cool this is he he he. And when we finally arrived at our house in the Alps the sun was shining and laughing 😉 I decided on the same day to make a walk because I simply had to go out. But I should have known it better. In the mountains, the weather can change at any time. And in fact, in the middle of a forest suddenly the weather really changed. Drizzling rain, fog, snow and a very bad visibility? What? … Damn, not again bad weather! My God, and so it remained throughout the entire week. When I read the weather forecast again there were suddenly only black clouds and snowflakes instead of small suns marked as pictographs. I now believe that the weather god is performing an experiment with me just to driving me crazy slowly he he he. Well, I always take what I get and made the best of this situation, and in addition my dog loves this weather … it is always too hot for him in his fur he he he. When I came to this place, the atmosphere was really very mystical and beautiful and I could not resist this temptation and made this photo here. I hope you like it.

Thank you for your time and interest in my photos, your visit is most appreciated 🙂

Goblins Woods by StefanHefele

“Goblins Woods” – Redwood – USA

While I roamed over hill and dale thru those Giant Forests at the early morning hours in search for a nice angle I suddenly tripped over this unique match of light. The morning haze in combination with the dense forest vegetation made it a fairy for the eyes. It was just a short moment where I quickly had to find a composition. But luckily my instincts work quite well sometimes ;-).
