Another shot of the ferris wheel on „Volksfest“ (comparable to the „Oktoberfest“ in Munich) in my hometown. The building behind the wheel is the Congress Hall. The landmarked Congress Hall (inspired by the Colosseum in Rome) is the biggest preserved national socialist monumental building in Germany. It took a lot of patience to get this shot, I needed to wait for the ferris wheel to stop long enough to not get a blur in the lights and also for nobody to walk in front of me… it felt like eternity but finally got it after several trips to Santa Monica Pier. Hope you enjoy!
