Well that huge wave which is dancing in the middle had me completely. An unexpected shower, not bad sometime tongue emoticon Fortunately I moved my camera immediately after seeing it coming. But before doing so I made sure I had the best one from the situation

Strange Deja Vu by ArpanDas

As I don’t have my lens and camera with me ( both of them decided to have a wonderful swim in the midnight at Lake Fushine, thank god the D810 survived ) I was looking for some old photos to edit. I took this one during my Matese trip. I didn’t find the foreground that much interesting but later on I think it is not that bad. However I took the photo in a hurry as we were moving to another place for a sunset. But thank god I took several exposures for focus blending. 7 exposures for the foreground and global exposure exposed mostly for the sky.

Vernezza Sunset by ArpanDas

You may have seen many shots from this place. Yes this is the famous Vernazza city from Cinque Terre, Italy. After reaching here I was trying to find a different composition of the city and only way was to get to the top. When I was hiking I found this beautiful place but it was a very small area to even stand and the security guard initially didn’t allow me to get down here as it is very risky. But finally I managed to take a permission from her and yes it was really difficult to capture as there was hardly a place to place my tripod and stand. However I managed to get out something. The foreground is 7 exposures focus blend and then there is a single exposure for the sky. Everything is blended using TK Luminosity masks.

The last glow by ArpanDas

The day was most unlucky for me. I missed the most beautiful sunset there. I went there to capture the milky way and ya the milkway was there and it was the first time I saw it but my D810 went inside the lake and I couldn’t capture a single image of the milkyway.. How frustrating.

This is a blend of several exposures. First there were 8 exposures focus blended for the foreground flowers and then there was another exposure for the mountain and sky. Also I captured them knowing that I am going to use perspective blending. I must admit I miss the most brilliant light which was there for 5 minutes before. However I came with this I quite like it because it has so many elements and drama in it. I was disappointed with the moon as it was captured with 14mm wide angle lens and it looks so small. But whatever overall I like it very much. I never thought it will turn out so nicely.
