A nice and thick blanket of fresh snow covers the landscape on a winter’s day in western Norway. Single exposure, didn’t do a whole lot of editing really. Soon winter is here again!

Winter Solstice Magic by stiann

-30C on the shortest day of the year in western Norway. There’s some six hours of golden light on this day and the snow takes on the colors of the fiery sky. As with any time I’m presented with good light, I wasn’t really able to come up with a overly compelling composition. However I still decided to take some shots of the magical scene. Hopefully it can cool you down in the summer heat. 🙂
