Splash of Pink by GRoyer

Still going crazy with the gazanias!! And still taking advantage of a beautiful winter sunny day in Melbourne – can’t wait for spring to be here! Compared to the previous ones, this image has a softer edit, and a stronger dark background to accentuate the pink colour that the sunshine brings out.

Elegance in Pink #3 by GRoyer

Version #3 of the series – shooting gazanias in the back garden. This one is an extreme example of depth of field and control focus – only the tip of the petals is in focus, the rest is artistically blurred.

Elegance in Pink by GRoyer

Taken today with my new D750. I love those gazanias that are in our back garden, they give me plenty of opportunities to practice my close-up shots.
And so happy with my new camera – full frame, and the shutter is so quick, and precise! Love it!
