Today I have a little break for you from all the autumnal stuff. Don´t think that I do not like autumn anymore – I adore it, but a bit of variety in my portfolio can´t hurt. This photo is from my last tropical trip to wonderful Guadeloupe. I can still smell the moist air and a gentle salty sea breeze when I think back to this morning on that tropical beach.

There are those dark places on earth that always appear gloomy. Dark rocks, ominous clouds and a bizarre landscape. This all matches perfectly together. What a fantastic place to for shooting seascapes.

Forests are mystical and provide rich material for fairy tales and stories. Fangorn is the epitome of this.
This is my personal interpretation. Gloomy but not colorless and yet alive.
I’ve found this place far from civilization deep in the green forests of Tyrol. Simply fantastic there.

Where the forests are shady and light shines always gloomy, Dol Guldur exists. Surrounded by bizarre landscapes there wafts a constantly air of mysticism around the majestically rocks.
