Godafoss waterfall before the midnight by YiannisPavlis

The well known Godafoss waterfall (Icelandic: waterfall of the gods ) ,i was there an hour before the midnight and i choose to shoot from The west side even if it seemed to yield fewer views but at this time the light was better .To my opinion in Iceland the summer the best time to shoot is after 11 pm ,there are no tourist around at all ,and you my get better light . Back from a 2 weeks trip in Iceland ,travel around and cover over 4000 kl ,we stopped in Godafoss We were able to experience this waterfall from both sides of its banks. The east bank seemed to provide a great deal of flexibility in terms of how we were able to view the falls. The west side seemed to yield fewer views but at this time the light was better .It was around 11 o clock an hour before the midnight . Please Visit me on Facebook! .
