magical by impolat

I feel lucky to have captured this magical place and now present it by transforming it into something even more magical through the eye of a photographer. Hopefully, you’ll like viewing the capture and the end-product. If you already know the place, you might easily recognize the change; if not, please refer to the following article to know more about it. Thank you for your comments in advance.

“The Basilica Cistern (Turkish: Yerebatan Sarayı – “Sunken Palace”, or Yerebatan Sarnıcı – “Sunken Cistern”), is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that lie beneath the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The cistern, located 500 feet (150 m) southwest of the Hagia Sophia on the historical peninsula of Sarayburnu, was built in the 6th century during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian I.”
