Halo by whuang

Having shot an unbelievable sunset at this beach earlier in the year I didn’t expect to make another visit. However with the low tide coupled with calm surf I figured I’d shoot the tide pools along the shelf of this sea stack.

For three straight days a stream of mid deck clouds poured through the Bay Area. I missed the first day but I made it a point not to miss day 2. I focused primarily on the tide pools getting reflections and using the green sea grass as contrasting colors. As expected the sky burned intensely for over half an hour and was easily one of the best light shows of the year.

An Enchanters Dream by n3omccoy

This shot was taken 15 minutes after the actual burn from my older upload “Ephemeral.”

This is the most beautiful display of light that I have ever seen that lasted for more than 30 minutes. The after burn was just insane and all of us who witnessed it was in awe. This is one for the record books and I’m fortunate to witness and capture this moment.

The tide pools at Martin’s beach are the normal foreground used when the tide is really low. So I tried to find something different, and the glows on the seaweed really captured my eyes.

Thank you for viewing 🙂

Sanctuary by Shainblum

Some friends and I were blessed with incredible light in Half Moon Bay. I have been toying with this composition for over a year and a half now. I have gone back to this location over 10 times with promising sunsets…yet every time they would fade out to grey. I was literally jumping up and down yelling in excitement of how amazing this light was. I am super excited to share it with you all.
