Where the elemental forces meet. It is a living fantasy that never fades, once again in your head. For me, this valley in the French Alps embodies the virgin imagination. Pure, innocent and yet untamed and mysterious. A valley like a dream. But the reality may be so fantastically.

Where the forests are shady and light shines always gloomy, Dol Guldur exists. Surrounded by bizarre landscapes there wafts a constantly air of mysticism around the majestically rocks.

The dark side of the Shades by StefanHefele

A good photo turns things upside down and transports the viewer into a world of dreams. So at least this is my personal interpretation. If I had a little more guts, I would have had the chance to catch a flash from this gigantic thundercloud on this open platform at nearly 2500 m altitude. My thoughts revolved only around my family and let’s get out here. It was a hard decision but my instinct won…
Photoshop could have addressed it, but for my taste that would be too much of manipulation!

A tough hike that was rewarded by awesome ice-age-like nature.
The rising clouds transformed into a huge thunderstorm. After a short break I quickly had to descend into the valley.
