Went on to meet the winter visitors to Head Marala………..Beautiful Northern Pintail………..our visit was sadly cut short by forest guards……….who confused us with hunters………….and didn’t allow us to sit in our hides…………still it was nice to see birds in good numbers…………

In Deep Thoughts: Little Grebe by RiazSiddiki

Me and my friend went to Head Marala this Saturday night on invite received from another friend offering us to shoot Cotton Pygmy Goose and Whistling Ducks…………..as routine……..we checked weather forecast on Google and seeing that it was clear………….we arrived at the destination………….unfortunately it started to rain before sunrise and we were limited to our hides in heavy rain……….poor lighting conditions and birds opting to remain hidden in reed offered us nothing to shoot………this little grebe was kind enough to pose for us………ensuring that we don’t return empty handed ☺
