Nowhere to Run by AlisterBenn

When we moved up to the west highland coast of Scotland last year (back to my homeland) – I set about exploring and was delighted to find many small caves and coves that I did not know existed.

In this one I needed to climb down into it about 30 feet and wear chest waders to wait for the tide!

A slightly high risk strategy as there is no way of escape!

Knowing the exact height of the water at any given time is the only safety net.

The Summer Isles by AlisterBenn

Here on the west coast of Scotland, summer is drawing to a close, there is a crispness in the air that heralds the arrival of Autumn.

Migrant birds are heading south and the nights are getting longer – soon winter will be here – my time!
