Riverside by JeremyDuncan

Another fall color image from 2014. I wasn’t able to get out much this year (2015). Not sure why but I am going to go ahead and blame it on pure laziness.

I wish I could say I hiked for miles to get this shot, but, alas, it is about five feet from my car. However, I never get bored of this area.

Single image. Thanks for looking!

Here is a shot I took the other day when we though the fog will roll over into Dubai, United Arab Emirates but didn’t unfortunately. However, the weather did manage to create this very surrealistic mist/fog mix at that time and so we decided to take advantage of it.

I waited for almost an hour and a half to get this shot as I wanted the sun’s light to reflect on Burj Khalifa which gave birth to this scene. The entire Downtown Dubai – The Centre of Now was submerged in the mist while only Burj Khalifa stood out.

I am content with how it has turned out considering the fact that the weather wasn’t as good as we desired. Sometimes you just gotta make the best with what you have. smile emoticon

Rising lights by weather-photosNET

Viaduct Črni Kal and car trails at night on Nov 12th, 2015. Dense fog trapped beneath the thermal inversion was gradually rising this night, creating some crazy scenes with the highway.

Into the clouds by weather-photosNET

My photos in calendar 2016: http://ift.tt/1rW6N89

The famous viaduct Črni Kal, Slovenia is rising from the dense fog in the first morning light of Nov 13th, 2015. The persisting thermal inversion resulted in cold airmass to remain trapped over the North Adriatic sea.
