Recuerdos de Islandia y de la playa de Jökulsárlón donde el mar devolvía los grandes restos de glaciar en forma de cristales rotos erosionados por el continuo golpeo de la mar…un paraíso para el fotógrafo amante de la naturaleza, sin duda con estos recuerdos volveré algún día.

Hello my friends! I am back in the Netherlands for the Christmas days and New Year. This gave the opportunity today to go shooting again together with my good friend Rienk! This picture was taken at Skogafoss waterfall in iceland, and it is a panorama of about 20 pictures stitched together. The final picture had some colour grading applied to it in photoshop, using curves and levels adjustments.

Un sueño cumplido recogido en mi cámara y en mi cabeza…siempre pensaba y soñaba como sería fotografiar esos témpanos de hielo en la playa Jökulsárlón, pues al final lo cumplí y pude traerme estos recuerdos. Imágenes tomadas en el atardecer en hora azul, que se hacia interminable por la situación geográfica y la época del año en que nos encontrábamos, corriendo de un lado para otro con una multitud de fotógrafos que no parábamos de darle al click de nuestra cámara intentado plasmar esos barridos de las olas…Islandia un lugar al que sin duda algún día volveré con las ideas más claras.

Key dates: • By 1180 the castle belongs to the Plantagenets.

• 1196: It returns to the Count of Toulouse Raymond VI.

• 1214: Simon de Montfort seizes Najac.

• 1249: Death of Count Raymond VII of Toulouse. His lands passed to his son Alphonse of Poitiers, brother of King Louis IX.

• 1271: Death of Alphonse de Poitiers. Midi annexed to the royal domain.

• 1572: The Huguenots seized Najac and devastate the castle.

• 1590: It is taken by the troops of Henry IV
