In Joshua Tree National Park are very big rocks. The look as washed by a river, but this is’nt the case. The solid rocks are broken by earthquakes and then formed by the temperature differences of day and night.

Morning Glow by gbphotography

I haven’t been posting images for ages since my move to the US, so it feels good to get images out again. This image here is still from the archives, so I need to get out a shoot new material soon!

During the night of the blood moon on the 8th October 2014 I travelled to the Cholla Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree National Park, California.

I had a fantastic night navigating through these spikey creatures and capturing them under moonlight.

In the morning I was rewarded by this magnificient sunrise!
