Another shot from Valley of Fire, this time I kept colours to highlight the drama of the scene.

“Dedicated in 1935, Valley of Fire is Nevada’s oldest state park. It is located only 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. The rough floor and jagged walls of the park contain brilliant formations of eroded sandstone and sand dunes more than 150 million years old. These features, which are the centerpiece of the park’s attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun’s rays”.

Eternity by davidharoldd

Last night I took to the skies for some reflection, healing & thinking time. It gets me every time the pure beauty of a clear nights sky. I took my wife and 6 week old daughter along for the drive. It was Ella’s first night out under the stars… not that she seemed impressed. The milky way danced above this beautiful old tree on top of a hill. The orange glow of the city lights can be seen on the left.

“If people looked at the stars each night, they’d live a lot differently when you look into infinity you realize that there are more important things than what people do all day” Bill Watterson

Mountains of Kazbegi by roliketto

After driving four hours from Tbilisi (Capital city of Georgia) and then hiking for almost an hour finally I was able to experience this amazing view. The Gergeti Trinity Church, the main cultural landmark of Stepantsminda surrounded by Kazbegi’s mountains.

Single exposure processed in Photoshop CS5 and Colour Efex Pro.
